See what Christie has been up to this summer with her internship, visiting Texas, and spending quality time with friends and family!
This summer I am living... in the Chicago suburbs! I’ve grown up here my whole life, and I’m super grateful to be working remotely at home and spend quality time with my family. Besides the suburbs, I’ve been to downtown Chicago a couple of times with my friends to eat delicious food and make amazing memories! I also had the chance to visit my cousins in Texas. They live in San Antonio, but I also got to go to Austin for a day and explore the city.
I’m currently working at... Jebbit, a venture backed start-up in Boston! I’m a Content Specialist and Accounting intern, so it’s a hybrid role where I get to explore my creative and analytical sides. In this role I get to create interactive campaigns for clients, assist the Studio Team with creative and design concepts, and assist the finance and accounting team with payroll. I’ve learned a lot of valuable skills, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of the most energetic, hard-working, and dedicated team.
A highlight of my summer so far has been... going to stay with my cousins for a week in Texas! It was great to catch up with them and play with their cutest dog, Hazel. The food was amazing too; my favorite restaurant was Loro with its Asian and Texas fusion cuisine. Highly recommend eating there if you visit Austin! I also went kayaking for the first time, which was a great time.
